Accident at the TEG roundabout, police clarify the dynamics: One victim and two injured

Tirana Police have revealed the first official details regarding the serious accident recorded this Wednesday afternoon at the TEG roundabout, where a truck collided with a vehicle and then went off the road.

According to the preliminary announcement by the blue uniforms, the truck (concrete pump) collided with a vehicle on the roundabout, broke through the protective metal barriers and fell to the lower level of the TEG-Elbasan road axis, in the direction of Elbasan.

As a result of the accident, one of the people traveling in the truck is suspected to have died at the scene, while the other person was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident, the citizen with the initials RN, about 28 years old, has been transported to the hospital and is out of danger.

At around 16:20, at the TEG roundabout, a truck (concrete pump) collided with a vehicle.

As a result of the collision, the truck (concrete pump) broke through the metal protective barriers of the roundabout and fell to the lower level of the TEG-Elbasan road axis, in the direction of Elbasan.

As a result, one of the people traveling in the truck (concrete pump) is suspected to have died at the scene, while the other person was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

The two people who were in the truck (concrete pump) are still unidentified and work is underway to determine whether the person who died at the scene was the truck driver or the person who is in the hospital.

Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle, citizen RN, about 28 years old, has been taken to hospital and is out of danger.
