17-year-old injured at sea, Vlora police: He slipped and fell on the boat's

Vlora Police have revealed preliminary details regarding the accident that occurred this Thursday afternoon on the beach, where a 17-year-old was injured.

According to the official announcement, at around 16:50, a vessel driven by citizen EI, 32 years old, was sailing from the Karaburun Peninsula towards the pier in Vlora.

During the cruise, one of the passengers, citizen S. Ç., 17 years old, is suspected of slipping and falling into the engine compartment of the vessel, suffering injuries to his legs.

Police announcement:

“Vlora/Preliminary information.

At around 16:50, a vessel, captained by citizen EI, 32 years old, was sailing from the Karaburun Peninsula towards the pier in Vlora.

During the cruise, one of the passengers, citizen S. Ç., 17 years old, is suspected of slipping and falling into the engine compartment of the vessel, as a result of which he suffered injuries to his legs.

The injured citizen was transported by ambulance to the Vlora Regional Hospital, where he is under the care of doctors. The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, has initiated procedural actions to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident."
