The head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted from the Parliament to the situation created during the protest outside Parliament, demanding a halt to police intervention against the protesters.

Bardhi said that citizens do not pose a threat to MPs and criticized the security measures taken, stating that the Parliament is armored as if citizens were a threat.

He also addressed Socialist MP Taulant Balla, criticizing him for his concern over possible damage to his clothing during the protest.

According to him, the police should distance themselves from any form of violence and the Assembly should not consider citizens as a danger due to their criticisms or demands.

He added that protesters have demanded legal changes and institutional response, demanding that their voices be heard by politics.
