Eggs thrown during protest, police escort 5 citizens

Five citizens were escorted by the State Police during the protest held today in front of the Albanian Parliament.

According to preliminary information, they were taken to the premises of Police Station No. 1 in Tirana, following clashes and tensions created during the rally.

Meanwhile, the protest continues outside the Parliament building, where citizens have stood in front of the security cordon, continuing their calls against the government and demanding the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

There continues to be an increased presence of police forces and FNSH officers in the area, committed to maintaining order and security.
