Territorial reform, Berisha: Our project foresees from 90 to 110 municipalities

Speaking about the Territorial Reform, DP leader Sali Berisha also showed the opposition's project.

He said that their proposal is to have 90 to 110 municipalities, also bringing back communes. Berisha stressed that Rama does not want this project, as he wants to turn Albania into his fiefdom.

"We have our own project which has a number of municipalities ranging from 90 to 110, but it adds communes. We are not saying to go back to the previous model, no, because there are demographic changes, which make the previous model with four hundred or so communes not very realistic. But we are asking for the return of communes based on possible demographic criteria. Or where there were two or three communes, one commune could be created. So, we have done a very serious job on the map in defining future units. But this was not allowed because it was interrupted. Edi Rama did not want the reform. He wants to return Albania to his fiefdom at all costs ," said Berisha.
