Activist Sidorela Vatnikaj has reacted after clashes during today's protest in front of Parliament, accusing the State Police of using force against citizens.

Speaking at the next protest in front of the prime minister's office, Vatnikaj said that vulnerable people, including children and the elderly, were also involved in the protest, while some protesters, according to her, ended up in hospitals or police stations after police intervention.

"Despite the fact that we have been peacefully protesting for 54 days, today we have been faced with unprecedented, unjustifiable violence from what we call the State Police. Today, children, the elderly and people with health problems have been faced with tear gas, police violence and pepper spray ," Vatnikaj declared.
