Prime Minister Edi Rama has chosen to openly attack even European critics who have openly supported the civic protests.

During his speech at the extended meeting of the Socialist Party parliamentary group and the government cabinet, Rama accused several MEPs of engaging in political reactions without knowing the content of the law.

According to him, individuals with political agendas, including representatives of the European Parliament, have participated in the recent protests.

"Individuals with political agendas, including some MEPs, who have not read the law at all, are protesting. Those changes were made in accordance with the EU directive. Fortunately, my word is not against the word of those who think differently. All articles of those changes will be scanned one by one. This complicated conflict will be resolved through negotiations. Nothing passes without the approval of the European Commission ," said Rama.
