The citizens' march from Skanderbeg Square towards the Prime Minister's Office has begun, as the protest against the Edi Rama government enters its 56th day today.

With the demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, protesters have headed towards the boulevard, continuing the series of protests that have been taking place in Tirana for weeks.

Today's protest comes after Rama's statements at the extended meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, where the prime minister presented the political document "Besa" and spoke about the need for a new relationship between the majority and citizens.

But the protesters have rejected this message, stating that the government has lost the trust of citizens and that what is being demanded of them is not a new platform, but the removal of Rama from leading the government.
