The master of loloisms or the lolo of the workers?!

The master of loloisms or the lolo of the workers?!

Luçiano Boçi
There is a new genre in Albanian journalism.
Aferim!
No longer are analyses, truths written, but hymns, dithyrambs, Pindaresque flights for Rama's government.
This new genre is called LOLOIZM.
No longer is an account required, no longer is there a reflection of reality, but simply panegyrics that amaze with the courage and boldness of those who take up the pen and dirty it.
And in one of the many loloisms that circulate with an unbridled algorithm in our media, I read that in the set of Albanian mythological and fabulous figures, in addition to Katalla, Kuçedra, Xhindi, Lugat, Qeros, we have added the figure of the "Foreman", alias according to loloism, the Prime Minister, who has fallen into the hands of the desert frog by working (in fact, robbing) day and night and has done us every good that Albania has known and therefore to whom we must accept his allegiance.
Oh God, what a speechless discovery?!
This "Foreman" just like in the famous myths in the famous loloism has brought us happiness, joy, the sun, the moon, the sea, the river and everything that your hand touches and your eye sees.
Publicity for the sake of publicity.
The best of the best of the foreman's good deeds is the Reform in Justice.
Hallelujah!
Yes, normal for him, yes, because even the simplest prosecution in the world would have cracked Rama inside out.
And if reform is the crown of governance, then corruption has become its medal.
This is leading us towards the EU according to loloism.
But the EU does not love governments. Even more so individuals.
The EU negotiates with states. The integration process has been the aspiration of Albanians for more than three decades, not the intellectual property of Edi Rama. Moreover, the chapters do not close with a selfie in Brussels, but with a rule of law and functioning institutions.
e-Albania, the main heroine, has saved us millions of euros.
Very good!
Now the "mastermind" must explain this to the pensioner who waits for medicine, the farmer who wanders for subsidies, or the business that wanders from one institution to another for a company.
Digitalization, Mr. "mastermind", is a tool, not welfare.
It has built us roads.
Discovery!!!!
Yes, yes, roads have been built. Even the Romans built roads. The world also builds roads. The difference is that the Romans did not charge the world for them, and they charge them at prices that even Europe looks at with astonishment. The roads were paid for by the citizens, not by the generosity of the "master builder".
Tourists were robbed by the master tourist.
What about the Albanians themselves?!
Albanians are leaving. One comes for a week, the other leaves forever. This is not a victory. It is the greatest paradox of these years.
The boss is making us energy powerhouses, but in the meantime families and businesses continue to face high costs and uncertainty. Statistics are useful, but they don't pay the bills. The
minimum wage is celebrated as an achievement of the "boss."
What about purchasing power? What about inflation? What about the fact that a nominal increase can be undone by prices? The numbers are beautiful on paper. In the supermarket, they are less convincing.
Pensions are the cherry on top...
Even the author of the loloism admits that they have increased "a little". After 13 years in power, even the government's praisers dare not say that pensioners live well.
And then comes the peak of irony.
"The boss is asking us for our allegiance."
The allegiance?
In 2013, he asked for allegiance for the Renaissance.
In 2017, he asked for allegiance to continue.
In 2021, he asked for allegiance to finish the work.
In 2025, he will seek his trust again… to start what he promised in 2013.
If after four terms he still seeks his trust to fulfill the promises of his first term, you are no longer a foreman.
You are now the Loloja of the workers.
Because the workers work. They get up early, pay taxes, support their families, fight prices and try to live with dignity.
Loloja, on the contrary, appears every four years with the same story, only changes its packaging and expects the public to applaud it once again.
Therefore, the question is not whether we should give him his trust again.
The question is how many times can the same promise be sold as a new product?
Because trust is not an open-ended loan. It is a moral contract between the citizen and the government. And when it is broken for 13 years in a row, it no longer seeks trust.
It seeks oblivion. And oblivion is the raw material with which exhausted powers survive.
Long live Loloism!
