Kushner's company opposes Rama on Zvërnec: We are not involved

While the project to build a luxury resort in Zvërnec continues to spark debate and controversy in Albania, the US President's daughter, Ivanka Trump, and Jared Kushner have denied any direct involvement in this investment.

According to a statement from Affinity Partners, owned by Jared Kushner, the firm has no role in the project that has become the subject of public protests and controversy.

After a request for comment from CNBC , the company directed reporters to a public relations agency, clarifying that any U.S. citizen involved in the initiative is acting in a personal capacity and not on behalf of Affinity Partners.

On the other hand, the chairman of Sazan Real Estate Development LLC, Asher Abehsera, defended the project, stating that it aims to promote the area's tourism potential and create new economic opportunities for the country.

"Our goal is simple: to promote Albania's natural beauty, create jobs and build something that future generations can be proud of. Ultimately, the future of this project will be determined by Albania and Albanian citizens ," Abehsera said.
