Israeli flag incident, activist: There are infiltrated groups among us

One of the initiators of the civic protest in Tirana against the government, Arben Kola, has reacted after the incident with the Israeli flag.

In a statement to News24, Kola said that the civic movement has no connection to religious or national positions and that its goal is only to express the dissatisfaction of citizens.

"Among us there are infiltrated groups that are trying to give another meaning to the protest. This will not undo the will of the citizens," he declared.

Kola said that data will be made public on the people who, according to him, are trying to harm the protest, while he called on security institutions to react to avoid tensions.

Regarding the incident with the Israeli flag, he distanced himself from any actions towards the national symbols of other countries.

"We are not against any country and we are not for violating the flags of any country, whether Israel, Serbia, Greece or other countries. This protest does not have such a purpose," said Kola.
