What happened in the SP group? Rama "stops" the debate about Marjana

Prime Minister Edi Rama held a closed-door meeting with the Socialist Party parliamentary group, where the focus of discussions was the political situation in the country and the latest reactions regarding the Zvërnec issue.

According to sources, Rama has asked MPs to increase their engagement on social media and promote government projects and investments more intensively. He has expressed dissatisfaction with the way in which, according to him, the government's work is failing to receive the attention it deserves on online platforms.

During the meeting, there was also an exchange of remarks between the Prime Minister and MP Erion Braçe. Rama criticized Braçe for his frequent publications denouncing the urban waste problem, pointing out that he only focuses on problematic cases. On the other hand, Braçe insisted that he will continue to denounce these situations until they are resolved.

Sources indicate that the head of government has also provided guidance on how MPs should communicate on recent political developments. Meanwhile, the discussion on activist Marjana Koçeku did not continue, as Rama intervened, preventing the topic from expanding during the parliamentary group debate.
