Weapons cache discovered in Fier, Prosecution sends 38-year-old to trial

The Fier Prosecutor's Office has closed the investigation into 38-year-old Milasim Ramaj, who was found to have a criminal base in Fier with an arsenal of automatic weapons and combat vehicles with silencers.

The prosecution is sending Milasim Ramaj to trial, accused of committing the criminal offense of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition."

From the investigations into criminal proceedings no. 1586, of 2025, it resulted that the defendant, while driving the vehicle, was carrying 1 pistol-type firearm, along with 50 cartridges.

Following the investigative actions and checks carried out in the premises used by him, 12 other firearms were also seized, namely 10 model 56 automatic weapons, 1 "Scorpion" type automatic weapon and 1 pistol, all in functional condition according to the technical-ballistic expertise.

Also, 465 live ammunition of various calibers, 14 rifle, shotgun and pistol magazines, as well as 2 devices for reducing the noise of weapons ("silencers") were seized.

Based on the technical-ballistic expertise, all seized weapons and ammunition were found to be in good technical condition and capable of firing. The investigations also revealed data that raise suspicions that some of the weapons were being held with the intention of selling them illegally, facts that are the subject of investigation in a separate criminal proceeding.
