The irony of the protesters, they "dress" Rama in a pink dress at the NATO summit

Even in the 39th protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, citizens have chosen banners as a way to express their dissatisfaction and criticism of Edi Rama's government.

The messages displayed at the rally touched on various topics, from public spending to health services. One of the banners brought attention to the financing of Kanye West's concert, where protesters wrote: "We want €4 million for Oncology, not for nonsense."

Another banner ironized the appearance of Prime Minister Edi Rama during the NATO summit in Ankara, through a photomontage where he appears in a pink dress, while Mark Rutte is seen showing the outfit to Donald Trump.

Among the protesters' other messages were criticisms of government propaganda and the economic situation of citizens, with banners reading: "Propaganda. Excuses. Achievements. No one will erase responsibility" and "Kanye West gets 4 million euros, my parents have 2 jobs, the state does not pay for surgeries."

Banners have now become one of the most prominent elements of daily protests, where citizens use irony and symbolic messages to address their opposition to the government.
