DP accuses Rama: Kanye West's concert was financed with 4.2 million euros

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi has reacted through a Facebook post regarding Kanye West's concert, accusing Prime Minister Edi Rama of exploiting the event for political purposes.

According to Këlliç, the head of government is presenting the concert as a personal success and is trying to use it as a counter-response to the opposition protests, turning it into an "anti-rally".

The Democratic MP also raised accusations about the way the event was financed, claiming that the organization of the concert cost 4.2 million euros from public funds. According to him, this amount constitutes another case of misuse of taxpayers' money.

"4.2 million euros just so Edi Rama looks good. This concert is now included in the list of affairs and oppressions he commits with citizens' taxes," Këlliçi said in his reaction.
