One of the protesters released this Saturday by the court, Arbër Lleshi, spoke at the 36th civic protest, where he denounced the violence that, according to him, was exerted against him after his arrest during Thursday's clashes near the Parliament.

Lleshi claimed that he was punched while being transported in a police vehicle and that, after being taken to the police station, he did not receive the medical assistance he requested. He also spoke about the presence, according to him, of civilians infiltrated during the intervention against the protesters.

According to him, the protest is not part of the political clash between the majority and the opposition, but a reaction of the younger generation against the political class that has run the country for years.

Arbër Lleshi : The arrests as you have seen, violent and macabre, unworthy of any country, even Russia, our protest is not about the political war being waged in the SP-PD parliament. Those police officers who do not represent the majority of the police are tools of an old political establishment that uses the police function for black political purposes to cling to power. Violence, strikes or illegal punches of corrupt officers cannot defeat the punch of your peaceful revolution.
