An ironic scene accompanied the protest held in Tirana, where protesters marked Prime Minister Edi Rama's birthday with a direct and provocative message.
During the rally, they chanted "Another 100 years... in prison," turning the moment into an act of protest and irony towards the head of government.
As part of the symbolic performance, the protesters have also brought a "cake" built of concrete, using it as a metaphor for their criticism of the government and its policies, which they associate with construction and concreting.
