Details from the arrest of Granit Pepnikaj, firearms and drugs were found inside

Police have provided details of the operation that led to the arrest of Granit Pepnikaj, who is wanted for fraud with call centers.

The 29-year-old was arrested together with Xh. H., 31, who was declared wanted by a decision of the Tirana Court. Both are accused of the criminal offense of "Computer Fraud", as they are suspected of having been involved in fraudulent call center schemes, through which considerable sums of money were obtained.

During the search of the villa where the suspects were staying, police found and seized a firearm and narcotics. A 28-year-old man was also arrested during the operation, who is suspected of having helped the perpetrators evade justice.

For the 29-year-old, the Tirana Court had set the security measure "Arrest in prison" on April 30, 2026, while for the 31-year-old the same measure was set on April 13, 2026.
