Decision/ The Government gives "Osman" 88.5 ha for free in Vlora for an Economic Zone

The Albanian government has transferred 88.5 hectares of state land in Vlora to the RAMS Albania company, which will build a free economic zone there.

Through a special decision, the Council of Ministers approved at its last meeting the transfer of state-owned land to the Real Estate Fund for Strategic Investment Support.

"State real estate is made available for the development and implementation of the strategic investment project "Vlora TEDA/RAMS Free Zone", by the investment entity "Rams Albania", sh.pk, with NUIS M42427018I," the government decision states.

In February of this year, the Strategic Investment Committee granted this project the status of Strategic Investment. According to the decision, the investment value of the “Vlora TEDA/RAMS Free Zone” project is expected to be 100 million dollars and it is expected to employ about 10 thousand people.

"The investment project is proposed to be developed as a logistics and innovative industrial ecosystem, which will include, among other things, industrial technology, automation and artificial intelligence. Light mechanical processing of metals by combining clean metallurgy with limited activities in light mechanical processing and non-polluting surface treatments and renewable energy," the KIS decision states.

Rams Albania is owned by Mehmet Faruk Burbul, who is also the owner of Rams Global Corporation. RAMS Global is an international multi-sector company headquartered in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with origins in real estate and construction.
