Hidden camera near Drenova Prison, suspected of being used in the assassination

A hidden camera located near the High Security Prison in Drenova has raised suspicions that it may have been used to plan an assassination attempt on Brian Syzo. The device was discovered about four days ago, mounted on a poplar tree by the road leading to the penitentiary institution.

Sources from the investigation group indicate that, after verifications carried out by the Korça Police Commissariat and analysis of security camera footage in the area, brothers Nikolla and Edison Agolli have been identified as suspects for its placement.

According to investigators' suspicions, the camera was installed to track the movements of Brian Syzo, who was visiting his brother, Sindi Syzo, who is serving a sentence in Drenova Prison for stabbing Nikolla Agolli. It is suspected that the purpose was to collect information on his movements, in order to organize an attack.

Preliminary investigations link this action to the conflict between the parties, where the main motive is suspected to be revenge.

The incident is also considered to be related to the assassination attempt that occurred a few days ago in Pogradec, where Nikolla Agolli was arrested immediately after allegedly opening fire on Brian Syzo. David Prifti was also arrested in the same operation, while Edison Agolli and Meardi Berberi, known by the nickname "Koro", remain at large.

Police are continuing their investigations to document the entire suspected criminal scheme, to clarify the role of the hidden camera in planning the attack, and to arrest the wanted persons.
