A shooting has rocked the northern German city of Stade, where five people were killed after being shot at a youth welfare center, CNN reports .
According to German police, several other people were injured in the shooting, while authorities have arrested two suspects, including the person suspected of opening fire.
Investigators are working to clarify the circumstances and motives of the incident, while police have announced that the area has been secured and no longer poses a danger to the public.
However, citizens have been asked to avoid movement near the scene until the investigation is complete.
