62-year-old prisoner dies after being in the same cell with his son

In the early hours of this morning (June 28), a health emergency was recorded at the Shkodra Penitentiary Institution, which ended with the death of a detainee.

The detainee with the initials Ç. J., who was in the same cell as his son, the prisoner with the initials DJ, suffered a sudden deterioration in his health.

After receiving first aid in prison, due to the worsening of his condition, he was urgently transported to Koplik Hospital.

During transport, as well as upon arrival at the hospital emergency room, his condition was serious and he later passed away.
