England's Elliot Anderson is set for a mid-season transfer to Manchester City.
The club have reportedly agreed a British record deal worth up to £130m for the Nottingham Forest midfielder, who has impressed so far at the World Cup.
Anderson joined Forest from Newcastle United two years ago.
The 23-year-old, who is in Kansas City preparing for England's final group game against Panama in New Jersey on Saturday, has reportedly been given the go-ahead to undergo a pre-match medical. England coach Thomas Tuchel described Anderson as "the complete package" during their World Cup training camp.
"He is a great player," Tuchel said. "There is nothing more to say, he is the complete package.
"I'm happy he's with us at that kind of level and he's a key player for us."
