He stabbed his brother to death, the perpetrator was arrested in Kavaja

Police have arrested the suspected perpetrator of the murder that occurred on Wednesday evening in Kavaja, where a conflict between two brothers ended tragically.

According to preliminary information, the incident took place in the village of Agonas. The suspect, M. Rr., 76 years old, is accused of stabbing his brother, E. Rr., 74 years old, during a dispute that was allegedly related to a property issue.

Sources from the investigation indicate that the victim had gone to the field to pick up hay bales with a tractor and, on his way back, was confronted by his brother. A verbal conflict broke out between them, with the 76-year-old asking him not to cross that road. According to the author's claims, during the argument he was pushed with a tractor by his brother.

The altercation then escalated into physical violence. It is suspected that the 76-year-old pulled out a knife and stabbed his brother several times. The injured man was rushed to hospital, but did not survive his injuries.
