Admir Malaj has been removed from his position as director of the Port of Saranda, and Gjergji Mërkuri has been appointed in his place.
The change comes after a period in which Malaj headed the port institution, a position he took on in July 2025 after his transfer from the management of the Port of Vlora.
The official reasons for Malaj's departure have not yet been made public.
