Day 24 of the protest, I came from America, thousands will come!

The protest in Tirana, which has entered its 24th consecutive day, has continued to attract participants not only from different cities in Albania, but also from the Albanian diaspora in different countries around the world.

Among today's protesters is an Albanian citizen who came from the United States of America, who said he joined the rally to support the protesters' demands and for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"I have lived in America for 18 years. I came here only as a citizen to unite with the people and to expel those who have only stolen. Today in the Financial Times he insulted the Albanian people. I came only to protest ," he said.

He emphasized that Albanians must be united and that, according to him, the prime minister must react to the situation and the number of protesters in the square.

The prime minister should see how many people are in the square… We are only concerned with one non-negotiable demand: the resignation of the prime minister and a caretaker government so that the Albanian people can have free elections ,” he added.
