Changes in the Shkodra Police, here is who is appointed as the new director

The Director of the Shkodra Local Police, Gentian Berberi, is expected to leave office after about 11 months at the helm of this institution.

Dashamir Spaho, who previously held the position of Deputy Director of the Shkodra Police, is expected to be appointed in his place.

The move comes at a time when there have been other changes in the structures of the Shkodra Police, where a short time ago the head of the Shkodra Police Station, Bekim Lika, was suspended from duty after the discovery of a cannabis plot in the Velipoja area.

Berberi, who previously headed the Kukes Police, took over the leadership of the Shkodra Police about 11 months ago, after the departure of Fatmir Lleshi, during the campaign to demolish illegal constructions in Theth.

Meanwhile, Dashamir Spaho comes from the Border and Migration Department at the General Directorate of the State Police and returns to Shkodra, this time to the position of Director of the Local Police.
