An 11-year-old drowns while bathing in the sea on the beach of Durres

A serious incident was recorded this Sunday morning on the coast of Durrës, where an 11-year-old child lost his life after allegedly drowning while bathing in the sea.

The victim, a resident of Tirana, was pulled from the water without any signs of life, while authorities have launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the tragedy.

At around 10:35, in neighborhood no. 13, Durrës, while bathing in the sea, an 11-year-old boy, resident of Tirana, is suspected of accidentally drowning.

The investigation team continues to work to clarify and fully document the circumstances of the incident, as well as to determine the cause of the drowning.
