New details have been revealed from the investigation into the death of Eglant Koç, whose body was found after about two weeks of searching in the Cerrujë village area.

According to preliminary information, during the initial examination of the body, a penetrating injury was found to the back of the head, which raises suspicions that the victim may have been shot with a firearm.

To clarify the exact cause of death, the body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, where the necessary examinations will be carried out.

The victim was identified by family members after police managed to locate the body with the help of drones in an isolated area of ​​Cerruja. Sources from the investigation indicate that at the time of discovery the body was in an advanced stage of decomposition.

Koçi had been reported missing for nearly two weeks and the family had requested the authorities' help in finding him.

Meanwhile, the investigation group is verifying the victim's movements and recent contacts. As part of the investigation, the police have declared Armand Shakaj wanted, who according to investigators was one of the people closest to Koçi.
