The Minister of Justice, Toni Gogu, was asked by journalists regarding the statement made the day before by independent MP Marjana Koçeku, who claimed that she and her family are facing threats, alluding to the involvement of the Bajri group in Shkodra.

Asked by journalists about his stance, Gogu said that any threat report should be treated seriously by law enforcement institutions.

" When a citizen, especially a member of parliament or elected official, reports a threat, this is not simply a political issue, but belongs to the rule of law."

All institutions charged by law with the fight against organized crime, if such a case arises, must act immediately.

"No citizen can live under threat. This is the duty of investigative and law enforcement bodies, such as the State Police and SPAK ," the minister said.
