Police have identified and announced a search for the suspected perpetrator of the murder of Ilir Gjin, on Thursday evening in the "Erdogan" neighborhood of Laç.

According to sources, the suspect is Emiljan Suti, who is suspected of having shot the 40-year-old man, who died during transportation to the hospital as a result of his injuries.

Based on preliminary information, Suti is suspected of shooting immediately after Gjini had parked the vehicle and was heading towards the entrance of the building he lived in. Although the victim attempted to flee, the perpetrator is suspected of following him and shooting again near the entrance of the building.

It is learned that the victim and the suspected perpetrator lived in the same neighborhood. Gjini, who was also known by the surnames Kokaj, Lika and Nure, is suspected of being shot with seven bullets.

The police continue their search for Emiljan Sutija, while investigations are ongoing to fully clarify the circumstances and motive of the incident.
