VALEN MP reacts after border detention: Albania is no one's property

The MP of the WLEN coalition in North Macedonia, Adnan Azizi, has reacted after his detention at an Albanian border point, stating that this episode has not stopped him from his political engagement.

Through a post on social media, Azizi thanked his supporters for their messages and said that during his years of political activity, he has not backed down in the face of any government.

"In all those years of political action, no power or tyrant has frightened or deterred us. Much less those of Open Balkan ," the MP wrote.

Azizi emphasized that Albania does not belong to a particular political force, but to all Albanians.

"Albania is no one's property. It is as much ours as it is every Albanian's, regardless of who governs in Tirana. Governments are temporary. Albania is permanent ," he said.
