Miracle under the rubble/ Mother and three children emerge alive 11 days after

An extraordinary story of survival has emerged from Venezuela, where a mother and her three children have been pulled alive after 11 days trapped under the rubble of a building collapsed by devastating earthquakes.

The rescue took place in the La Guaira area, one of the hardest hit by the two powerful earthquakes of June 24. The family was found under the rubble of the OPP building, where they had remained isolated since the day of the disaster.

According to authorities, the mother managed to keep her three children alive by breastfeeding them throughout the entire lockdown period, until rescue teams were able to locate and pull them from the rubble.

Meanwhile, the toll from the tragedy continues to mount. According to Venezuelan authorities, 3,685 deaths and 16,740 injuries have been confirmed so far, while tens of thousands of people are still missing.
