Car explodes in Shkodra, suspected to be planted with explosives

A vehicle was damaged by an explosion in the early hours of this Monday morning in the village of Gimaj, in Shkodra.

According to preliminary data, it is suspected that a small amount of explosive material was placed in the vehicle owned by the citizen with the initials LF, which exploded, causing only material damage.

Immediately after the incident, the Police arrived at the scene and began actions to document the case.

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances of the explosion, as well as to identify and apprehend the suspected perpetrator or perpetrators.
