"The Diaspora is with us", citizens: Rama resigns

After gathering in Skanderbeg Square, thousands of citizens began marching towards the Prime Minister's Office building, as part of the 35th consecutive protest, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

During the march, protesters chanted slogans such as "Revolution", "New Albania", "Rama resigns", "The Diaspora is with us" and "The end has come for you", as citizens headed towards the government headquarters.

Also, chants of "Free the boys" were heard at the protest, in support of the protesters arrested during Thursday's demonstration in front of Parliament.

Albanian flags were waved in the march, while participants also carried flags of the United States of America.

This is the 35th protest in a row, as organizers and participants continue to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. The protests, which have taken place every day in recent weeks, have attracted thousands of citizens from various cities across the country, as well as from the diaspora.
