DP takes to the Constitutional Court the dismissal of the investigative

The Democratic Party Parliamentary Group has taken the Assembly's decision to reject the establishment of two parliamentary investigative committees to the Constitutional Court.

The complaint was signed by 46 opposition MPs, who claim that the Assembly has violated the Constitution by not allowing the creation of committees related to investment contracts in road infrastructure and the activities of the National Road Administration.

According to them, the rejection of these committees violates the constitutional right of the parliamentary minority to exercise control and transparency over public institutions.

In the filed request, the opposition asks the Constitutional Court to annul the Assembly's decision, considering it contrary to constitutional principles and the oversight function of parliament.
