Berisha publishes footage of bloodied protester: I condemn violence against

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted after the incidents that occurred during the citizens' protest near the Parliament, where, among others, a protester was left bleeding during the police intervention in a bar near the Parliament.

In a Facebook post, Berisha published images of the young man with a bloody nose and accused the police of using violence against the protesters.

"The protest is bloody. After the bloodshed, the drug police wash their hands like Pilate! I condemn with the utmost severity the bloodshed of the peaceful protestor!", writes Berisha.
According to information, the young man was in a bar near the Parliament, where he had whistled and called out the name of socialist MP Ulsi Manja. Then, police forces entered the premises of the bar and forcibly removed several people, while during the intervention the protester suffered injuries to his nose.
