Democratic Party MP Ina Zhupa said that the reorganization of the DP's leadership structures will be accompanied by a broader representation of women and youth, in accordance with the approved changes to the statute.
Speaking to A2 CNN, she emphasized that the new composition of the party aims to reflect a more inclusive approach.

According to Zhupa, the new statute guarantees that at least 40% of representatives are women and 40% are young, while the list presented to the National Council was drafted precisely on this principle.

" With the statutory changes, we have decided that at least 40 percent will be women and 40 percent will be young people. Today's list was very representative in this regard. We aim to build a DP ready with a team for the electoral campaign, parliamentary battles, the transitional government and to lead the protest season ", said Zhupa.
The democratic MP described this phase as the continuation of the party's reform process, emphasizing that the creation of a functional leadership is an important step for the opposition's political objectives.

" Today begins the second chapter of this process and I hope it will conclude with successful elections and a functional leadership. I am confident that, thanks to the statutory changes and the vision of the party chairman, we will build a team that responds to the expectations of citizens, that aims to win the local elections and continue the pressure for a transitional government and the resignation of Edi Rama", declared Zhupa.
