Death of 32-year-old in Qafë Thanë, the young man was in an accident

New details have come to light regarding the fatal accident on the Pogradec-Qafë Thanë axis, where a 32-year-old man from Vlora lost his life.

The investigation revealed that Amarildo Islamaj was not the owner of the vehicle he crashed into. According to the investigation, he is suspected of having taken the vehicle without the owner's permission in the village of Leshnica, after finding it parked with the keys left inside.

After taking the vehicle, the 32-year-old drove away, but just a few minutes later he was involved in a serious accident on the Pogradec-Qafë Thanë road.

Despite the intervention of doctors, he failed to survive his injuries and died in hospital.

Meanwhile, the owner of the vehicle has reported the theft to the Pogradec Police Station. Investigations conducted by the police led to the identification of the suspected perpetrator of the theft, who turned out to be the 32-year-old man who lost his life after the accident.
