The civic protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office has been temporarily moved to the premises of the Polytechnic University of Tirana, after a group of students were prevented from unfurling a banner with the inscription "The end has come for you."
Contrary to what was initially stated from the protest podium, the banner was not removed by the State Police, but by the university's private guards. According to the regulations in force, the police are not allowed to enter university premises without meeting the legal requirements.
Following this development, numerous protesters joined the students on the university campus, demanding the return of the large banner and continuing the protest inside the university premises.
