Rama retracts statement: I did not say "F*ck you" to Albanians

Prime Minister Rama has retracted the statements he made towards Albanians, who have been protesting in front of the Prime Minister's Office for almost a month, demanding his removal.

In a video shared on Facebook, Rama claims that he was not addressing Albanians with the phrase "F*ck you", but was responding to them accusing him of being the "godfather" of the government.

Rama even blames the "Financial Time" journalist who made the statement, as according to him, he chose exactly that phrase from the entire conversation.

"The fact is that I have never said that word to Albanians. It is also clear in the article. When the journalist asked me how I respond to those who accuse me of being the godfather of the government, I briefly told him the word that deserves someone who has been accusing me relentlessly, for years and years, and has left no stone unturned to smear and bury me, but never any evidence. From an hour of free conversation, he chose exactly that sentence. But I have no regrets," Rama declared.
