Bardhi on attacks on protesters: The demand is Edi Rama's resignation

The head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, reacted with a post on Facebook, accusing Prime Minister Edi Rama of trying to shift attention from corruption allegations by attacking protesters.

According to Bardhi, the reason for the protest is government corruption, while the main demand remains the resignation of Edi Rama.

CORRUPT!

For several days now, Edi Rama has been launching a feverish campaign to shift public attention from the corruption of his government to personal attacks on protesters. He denigrates everyone, so that the question is no longer "Why are people protesting?", but "Who is protesting?".

This is his only old way of doing politics. When he can't answer concrete accusations, he tries to delegitimize those who oppose him.

But Albanians have only one reason why they are protesting: they refuse to be led by a corrupt Prime Minister, who treats the country as private property and shares its wealth with a handful of clients, while also laundering the money from international cocaine trafficking.

The reason for the protest is corruption.

It's Edi Rama. The protest's demand is his resignation!
