The DP's request for a motion with debate on the protesters' demands and the European Parliament's report was rejected by the SP at the Conference of Presidents.

The Socialists refused to listen to the demands of citizens who have been protesting in the square for 25 days.

Taulant Balla even imposed conditions on the protesters.

The first was that if they want to be heard, they must support European integration, even though none of the protesters' calls were directed against integration.

The second is related to the claims of Rama, Balla and the socialists that the protest should distance itself from Iran and Russia.

"Related to the protesters, when every protester, every citizen who will be represented through a political formation and it will have seats in parliament, we will cooperate with them, on the condition that they support the EU membership process, that they distance themselves from Iran, Russia and other actors unfriendly to Albania ," declared Balla.
