Thousands of citizens march through Tirana: Arrest Balluk!

Thousands of citizens joined the protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama this Wednesday, marking the 25th consecutive day of mobilization in the capital.

After the rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office, the protesters continued their march through the main streets of Tirana, chanting anti-government slogans. Along their route, they stopped at several intersections, conveying their messages for political change and accountability.

Participants called for a "new Albania", while among the most heard calls was: "Arrest Balluku", referring to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku.

The protest, which has been taking place daily for weeks, continues to gather citizens of different ages and professions, who say they will continue the rallies until their main demands are met, including the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the departure of the government.
