Family crime, 76-year-old man stabs his brother to death in Kavaja

A serious incident occurred this evening in the village of Agonas in Kavaja.

Police have previously announced that a 76-year-old man is suspected of stabbing his brother to death while they were in the field collecting fodder for their livestock. 

"Around 20:30, in the village of Agonas, Kavaja, it is suspected that, while they were in the field collecting food for livestock, citizen M. Rr., 76 years old, attacked his brother, citizen E. Rr., 74 years old, with a cutting tool (knife), who was immediately transported for medical assistance, but died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

Police services have arrested and escorted the suspected perpetrator to the police station for further action.

"The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing investigative actions to clarify the circumstances and fully legal documentation of this event ," the police announced.
