Opposing the draft law on agricultural lands, Rama attacks another protester:

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted again on social media to critics of the draft law on the sale of agricultural land to foreign citizens, targeting one of the activists of the civic protest that has been taking place in Tirana for weeks.

In a Facebook post, Rama responded to statements by activist Klajdi Bello, who has publicly opposed the initiative, arguing that it endangers the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.

Citing part of Bello's response, the Prime Minister said that the criticism is based on a misinterpretation of the content of the law. He stressed that the provisions of the draft law will enter into force only seven years after Albania's accession to the European Union.
