Gunfight in Shkodra, two arrested, one wanted

Two people have been arrested by the Shkodra Police, while another is wanted, following a gunfight that occurred on the evening of June 25 in the "Tre Heronjtë" neighborhood.

According to the Police, Ndoc Lufi, 63, and Aleksander Fojleta, 27, both residents of the same neighborhood, are in custody. Preliminary investigations show that the two neighbors had a conflict over weak motives and fired shots to threaten each other.

As a result of the shooting, the gate to the courtyard of the 63-year-old's apartment was damaged, as well as a vehicle parked inside the courtyard.

During the searches, officers found a Kalashnikov firearm in Ndoc Lufi's apartment, suspected to have been used during the conflict. Meanwhile, combat ammunition and four cans of suspected TNT explosives were seized in the apartment of the other occupant.

Following the investigation, the Police announced a search for a 26-year-old resident of Shkodra, who is suspected of having been present during the conflict, but did not report the incident.
