July ends with temperatures up to 40°C, what does July bring?

Albania has been experiencing a heat wave since Friday that is expected to last for several days, with temperatures reaching up to 40°C in some areas.

According to meteorological forecasts, the weather will continue to remain mostly clear in most of the territory, especially along the coastal area, where stable conditions will dominate in the coming days.

Meanwhile, from Tuesday of next week, a gradual change in weather conditions is expected, with a slight decrease in temperatures throughout the country and increased cloudiness, mainly in the southeast. Short-term rain showers are not excluded in these areas.

According to weather forecasters, minimum temperatures in mountainous areas could drop to 17°C, while on the coast they are not expected to drop below 25°C.

Transient cloudiness will appear mostly in the southeast and eastern areas, while the chance of precipitation during the weekend and early week remains very low.

A more significant cooling of the weather is expected in the first days of July, when temperatures could drop by about 3°C.
