The civic protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama continued into its 27th day, with thousands of citizens gathering in front of the Prime Minister's Office building to demand the government's resignation.

Among the speakers was an Albanian immigrant living in France, who stated that he came to Albania to join the protest and has no intention of returning to France until, according to him, Edi Rama leaves power.

He called for an escalation of civic action with peaceful protests and blockades of key institutions, while demanding that Edi Rama, Linda Rama, Belinda Balluku and Taulant Balla be declared "non grata".

"I will stay here a week, two weeks, three weeks, even two months if necessary, until we overthrow this last dictator in Europe. Let's do it with a peaceful revolution. Let's block the ports, the airports and the Parliament. I have seen how the French protest. Linda Rama, Belinda Balluku, Edi Rama and Taulant Balla must be declared 'non grata'," he said during his speech.
