Two people have been arrested by Tirana Police, suspected of threatening a client, holding her hostage and violently resisting police officers during the intervention.

The incident occurred in the Ish-Dogana area, where citizens Sefedin Ahmetaj, 63 years old, and Edjola Harunaj, 41 years old, owners of a home appliance store, were arrested in flagrante delicto.

According to the Police, after a conflict over weak motives with a client on the premises of the subject, they are suspected of having threatened her, held her against her will and exercised physical violence against her.

During the intervention of the officers, both of them violently resisted the police officers, while the 41-year-old woman is suspected of having struck a police officer in the line of duty, causing minor injuries.
